Quick Overview

Welcome to the Airbrush Art School Academy Series!

The Airbrush Academy is all about creating accomplished airbrush artists, taking complete novices to a very high standard of airbrushing in a short space of time.

Starting with the very basics and gradually adding to your skillset week by week via our online tutorials with set assignments to complete that are critiqued by Dave Bristow.

These assignments are set out in a way not to overwhelm the student, but to encourage growth slowly and confidently, so you can tackle the very slight increase in complexity in the artwork week after week.

By the end of the 3rd week, each student should understand the equipment, paints, and surfaces they are working on and have control of the airbrush via paint flow and trigger control, and should be at a level where they are producing quite stunning monochromatic pieces. The reason we start in monochrome is purely to develop control and aid the development of understanding values which plays a huge part in all artwork.

Not taking into account the daily practice sheets there are 14 projects to complete within the first 3 weeks, so you can progress quickly, however, there's no weekly timescale set for each of the assignments, so you can take as long as you need to complete the course up to 6 months. You will be fully supported by Dave throughout your journey with the Airbrush Art School and can contact Dave at any point via the Facebook group.
